TransPlex C-WTA for fixed and other degraded RNA
Reproducible Whole Transcriptome Amplification from Fixed and Other Degraded Samples
TransPlex C-WTA Applications:
- Gene expression profiling from biopsies and surgical tissue
- Biomarker testing of archived FFPE sections
- Splice variant analysis
TransPlex™ C-WTA is based on special enzymes and random-priming oligonucleotides to make and amplify a library of short, overlapping amplimers that are a very faithful representation of total cellular RNA. TransPlex yields excellent results with fragmented RNA greater than 400 b long even if containing lesions. It is a very effective method to amplify RNA damaged from formalin fixation, radiation, or shearing. TransPlex is not recommended for less than 100 analyte copies because of reduced reproducibility of the analysis.
