Rubicon Genomics Continues to Strengthen its Board of Directors

Rubicon Genomics, Inc. announced today that James J. Koziarz, Ph.D. has joined its Board of Directors. Dr. Koziarz most recently served as Corporate Vice President, Hepatitis/Retrovirus Research and Development of Abbott Laboratories.

Since leaving Abbott Laboratories in ’04, Dr. Koziarz has been consulting with start-up companies. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at DePaul University, Chicago. Also in ’04, Dr. Koziarz received a Commissioner’s award from the FDA for his work on an industry-wide task force addressing the issue of SARS.
