The Rubicon pre-analytical platforms improve the sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility of clinical tests by correcting for variations in the amount and quality of the DNA or RNA in common clinical specimens. All diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive testing of humans, animals and plants using GenomePlex, TransPlex, and MethylPlex technologies must be done with Rubicon reagents or licenses. Clinical testing or manufacturing using Rubicon technologies cannot be done using the research-only kits sold by Sigma-Aldrich, as such uses violate the intellectual property rights of Rubicon.
